Bank Wire
Bank wire deposits take approximately one to two business days (domestic) and three to five business days (international), often less, to arrive and process into your trading account. Bank wire deposits may be made in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, or NZD.

Paper Check
PCM accepts paper check deposits. Checks should be made out to PCM, reference the client's account number, and be mailed to PCM. Please note that there is a 10 business day holding period for all checks before they clear into the trading account.

For Foreign Currency:
All checks must have a U.S. correspondent and be drawn on a USD bank account in order to allow for correct processing. Checks sent in foreign currency will be returned to the remitter. Please note that PCM is not responsible for any lost checks.
Note: PCM accepts bank checks, cashier's checks, certified checks and personal checks. Personal checks will be held for 10 business days before they are deposited, regardless of amount or the date of deduction from the client's bank account. PCM recommends sending amounts under $2,000 via bank, certified or cashier's checks, all of which are deposited same day. PCM may not make nor receive any payment via a third party. We can neither guarantee the receipt, nor the return of such payments.
Important Information: PCM takes strong measures to prevent identity theft. Congress declared identity theft a federal crime in 1998 when it passed the Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act. This offense, in most circumstances, carries a maximum term of 15 years imprisonment, a fine, and criminal forfeiture of any personal property used or intended to be used to commit the offense.
May I send cash or a cash equivalent such as a money order or Travelers Cheque?
Cash and cash equivalents cannot be accepted as we are unable to verify the origin of these funds. They will be returned upon receipt.
What are the fees for depositing funds?
Neither HSBC nor PCM charge fees for incoming deposits. We recommend you contact your bank regarding any fees they or their associated intermediary banks may charge.
How long will it take for funds to appear in my trading account?
Wire transfers, official cheques, and card deposits are usually credited within 1 business day of receipt. Personal cheques are generally credited within 5 business days of receipt.
How can I send funds in a currency not listed on your website?
PCM has funding instructions for multiple currencies. If you wire funds in a currency other than the denomination of that bank account, the bank will automatically convert it to the denominated currency at an exchange rate specified by them, which may not necessarily be favorable.

What is considered a "third party" deposit?
Deposits received from an account held by someone other than the trading account holder constitutes a third party deposit. This also applies to corporate funds received for an individual account and similar scenarios.
Does PCM accept third party deposits?
No. PCM cannot accept any payments via a third party. We can neither guarantee the receipt nor the return of such payments.
I would like to send funds using a different method other than the options you provided. How can I do this?
The deposit choices PCM offers have been selected to provide the most convenient and reliable options to fund your account. Any method other than those listed is not recommended and could prevent or cause delays in PCM crediting the funds to your account.
Can I send funds through an exchange house?
PCM cannot accept funds sent through exchange houses. These types of financial institutions are considered high-risk for money laundering. Any funds received via this method will be returned upon receipt.
How much can I fund at one time via credit or debit card?
The minimum deposit amount is 50 of the account base currency. The maximum deposit amount is 10,000 of the account base currency within one calendar month. Please note that the account minimum for any new account is 2,000.
What is the withdrawal procedure when an account is funded by credit or debit card?
Accounts funded via credit or debit card may be subjected to receiving withdrawals via the same credit or debit card.
Please note that the credit card used for funding will typically be the same card used to return fund to when a withdrawal is requested. Please contact PCM immediately if the card used to fund is closed or if a different credit card number is re-issued. When requesting a withdrawal to a credit card, please consider if that card is closed or has been re-issued, if so, please choose an alternative method of withdrawal. Returning funds to closed account can cause a significant delay in receiving funds, and PCM cannot guarantee a time frame in which funds will be received if the refund is initiated to a closed account.
Will my credit card deposit be considered a cash advance?
Card deposits will appear on your card issuer's statement as a "purchase."
Will I receive a transaction receipt for my credit or debit card deposit?
Within minutes of making a deposit, an e-mail containing your transaction information will be sent to the e-mail address as indicated on the online deposit form.
My credit or debit card deposit was declined, but my card has been charged. What should I do?
If your card transaction was declined, the transaction should be lifted from your account normally within a few business days.
Will I be charged a fee for a currency conversion?
All credit or debit card transactions are automatically converted to the base currency of your PCM trading account. You may incur additional fees charged by your credit/debit card issuer for currency conversion.
Can I use my Visa Prepaid card or a Gift card to fund my PCM account if my name appears on it and it has a Visa logo?
Please do not send funds using a Prepaid or Gift Card. The origin of funds using gift cards or prepaid cards cannot be verified and therefore are not accepted. Deposits received in this manner will be returned to the originating card.

How long will it take for my wire deposit to arrive?
Domestic wire transfers generally arrive within 1-2 business days. Cross-Border wire transfers are usually received within 3-5 business days. Please review the chart below to determine which wire transfers are considered domestic:

I have an account with HSBC. Can I use their online transfer or bill payment services to fund my PCM account?
PCM does not recommend using an online transfer or bill payment service as a form of deposit due to the likelihood that the funds may arrive at PCM with insufficient account details. If funds are received in this method, PCM may request additional documentation to verify ownership of funds (such as a bank statement showing the transaction).
Can I visit my local HSBC branch and use an ATM or ask the teller to deposit funds directly into your account?
No. ATM or Bank Branch Deposits are typically received by PCM without any information with regard to the account or individual from whom the payment originated. If such deposits are received, PCM will require additional documents for proof of ownership or the funds will be returned. Please note that PCM can neither guarantee the receipt, nor the return of such payments.
What types of cheques are accepted?
PCM accepts GBP and USD official bank drafts and personal cheques. All GBP cheques must be drawn on a UK bank. All USD cheques must be drawn on a US bank.
Cashier's cheques must have the remitter's name pre-printed by the issuing bank. The remitter name must be the same as the account holder. Please also indicate the appropriate trading account number to expedite processing.
Personal cheques must be drawn from a bank account in the trading account holder's name.
Cheques from joint chequing accounts may be deposited into either chequing account owner's PCM account.
Cheques from an individual chequing account may be deposited into an PCM joint account if that person is one of the account holders.

Are there any restrictions on the amount I can deposit via personal cheque?
PCM accepts GBP or USD personal cheques in the amount of 2,000 or more.
How long will it take for my ACH deposit to appear in my account?
ACH deposits may clear into your account as soon as 1 business day, but in some cases up to 5 business days. You can check your account balance to verify if your funds have been applied to your account by logging in to the PCM Trading Station or
www.phiforex.com. If PCM is unable to verify all deposit information you will be contacted via email.
Before you complete this transaction, you must first contact your bank and make sure that your bank account does not have a debit block. Otherwise, your payment will be rejected.
If you designate a weekend or bank holiday, the bank will withdraw the payment on the next business day.
Can I make an ACH deposit in foreign currency?
Deposits are only accepted in USD.
What are the minimum and maximum ACH deposit amounts?
There is a minimum deposit of $100 and a maximum deposit of $50,000 per transaction.
Am I eligible to submit an ACH deposit?
You are eligible to submit an ACH deposit if you have a USD denominated bank account which is domiciled in the United States. You will need to be able provide your bank account number, and ABA routing number from your checkbook.
